I hadn't speculated on how it would end (indeed, I tried hard not to), so reading your post was the first I'd considered that they *might* have killed them all off.

I was hoping for the best, but bracing myself for the worst. I mean, Roswell's the kind of show where you'd expect a happy ending, but I've been surprised before by the kinds of finales writers come up with. Some seem to regard the end of a series as an excuse to finish off the characters.

I really liked the ending - it made me happy. Mind you, I mostly ignored the wedding. It was *such* a good setup for fanfic, which, to be honest, is just about all the show's good for anyway.

The wedding was amusing because it was just such a schmaltzy, Liz Parkerish way to finish, but I didn't mind it so much because they all got to hit the road together. I'm glad Kyle (FutureAlien!Kyle) got to go with them.

Archie? Horatio/Archie? "Mutiny"?

All of the above. :) I think knowing what will come later will make me see things in a different light. Kind of like how watching Clark and Lex in Smallville has extra resonance because everyone knows what is destined to happen.
