Day 30

Word count:

Today - 12544
Total - 50096

Technically, you're supposed to stop writing at midnight local time.

But I didn't sacrifice so much, and get so far, and come so close, just to stop before I finished.

So it's just on 6 AM, and at last I've hit 50K.

If this is a breach of the rules, then so be it. I'm going to validate and be damned. I wish it had been otherwise, yes. But I'm too tired and empty to care.

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter

12k words in one day! Superb, Meteor :D
In 24 hour comic notation you have performed "the Eastman Variation" by keeping on until you're done. There's no real shame in it, especially when you see what you did under pressure.

lessee, 12k words per day, 30 days... You could have written a 360000 word book this month :P

You're a strong person to be able to push yourself so hard no matter the obstacles! Good work, and don't let a little failing disguise the greater success that you've uncovered for yourself.

You made it!

Congrats! :D

(Dun worry about the rules, after all, they're more like guidelines. X3)

Thanks. I'm just glad it's over!

Well, actually, I can't really be proud of that 12K, because most of that was desperately incoherent stream of consciousness rambling that didn't have anything much to do with my story. That's not writing, that's just typing. It would be more honest to claim the 6K I did the day before as my maximum daily level of output. I guess that's my new upper limit.

Thanks, that's kind of you to say. ^^

Heh, thanks. I guess now it's time to get back to work on a certain story... XD

Congrats! ^^

Often finishing is more important than starting at all. After all, when you finish something it is an achievement. And 50,000 words is impressive by any standard XD

Wheeee~~~~ <3 *drools*

Then you are going to join us at FFXI? :3

But a good sleep should come first before all that. XD

There are still some things I need to sort out before I can join you guys there, but I hope it won't be much longer. I miss adventuring with everyone. T_T

Thanks! ^^

Usually I'm much better at starting things than finishing them. ^^;
