Christmas Day

It's still well over 30 degrees, despite the hour, but then again the sun won't be going down for a while yet. It's been hot as hell all day, which makes staying indoors with the air conditioning on the most attractive of all options. All the family together, exchange of presents, a light lunch, and relaxing on the couch watching my sister play the Buffy game Chaos Bleeds.

In a little while, I'm going to be helping put Christmas dinner together. The dessert - creamy mango mousse - is already chilling in the fridge. Later, we'll probably watch some videos and just laze around and talk. I also hope to finish rereading The Return of the King before I go see the movie tomorrow.
