Because it's been a long time coming, and it's better late than never.

Bo-Katan won my heart in that very first scene, when Din accused her of not being Mandalorian and also stealing that armour, and instead of ripping into him she took a deep breath and calmly explained, (1) that she was very Mandalorian indeed, and (2) that he was in a cult.

After the end of Season 2, with a long wait until Season 3, I started an unofficial and unconnected series, "What Din Djarin Did During His Long Hiatus" aka "Din Djarin And The Various People I Ship Him With".

I've been wanting to write this story for a while, but I've been real hesitant about writing for Bo-Katan when I haven't watched The Clone Wars or Rebels. I did get some useful advice on which episodes featured the relevant story arcs, and earlier this year I finally managed to watch them. I'm very glad I did!

On the other hand, this delay meant Season 3 was suddenly around the corner. What's more stressful than trying to finish a story before the new season starts and you get jossed? Failing to finish a story before the new season starts and actually getting jossed week by week.

So anyway! I've been loving the new season, but I'm also relieved this story is done.
