I loved how many of my favourite things were in this story: people protecting each other, and risking their own lives to do it, and the lovely rapport between the three of them. Plus the delicious angst of being a vampire who was turned against his will, and dealing with the trauma and the guilt. This is just what I was hoping for. Thank you so much, dear writer!
