Joy to the world
Still way behind on posts, but I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a most enjoyable festive season. I have been hanging out with family, cooking up a storm, and eating until fit to burst.
And also, it is Yuletide!
Thank you so much, Yuletide Writer, for your lovely story! I feel like you've opened a window into another time, when Sara Amami sang.
Title: No Time Like the Present
Fandom: Dragon Voice
Rating: G
Summary: Heaven breaks up.
2624 stories in 1445 fandoms, every one a gift. It still awes me every year.
The highlight of my fandom year! It used to be the only exchange I did, and it's still the biggest. I started branching out in 2015, around the time Chocolate Box and Trick or Treat began. They're now well established landmarks in the exchange scene. Recent times have seen the rise of freeform exchanges and flash exchanges. Exchange culture continues to evolve, and exchange etiquette remains hotly contested. (How optional is ODAO? Which DNWs are opt-in or opt-out? And are we doomed to eternal misuse of "Any"?) Yuletide is still going strong, with 1482 signups this year. I hope I'll still be posting about it 10 years from now.
