meteordustI started watching Babylon 5 thirty years ago, and always meant to get back to it someday. I restarted it two years ago, wrote up my thoughts on the pilot, and watched a handful of further episodes. I know I scribbled down notes on those too, but hell if I can find them now.
In any case, it feels way too daunting and deterring to commit to writing up reactions to every episode. So I'm just going to start watching again where I left off, and only post about it if the mood hits me. Because I really don't need another excuse to put this off again.
* I love everything about Na'Toth already.
* Oh, so this is Lennier, of "Lennier would never" fame! I guess I'm going to have this Sword of Damocles hanging over all his scenes from now until then.
* I admit, "Ulysses" is my favourite poem too. But it still feels a little pretentious to make it into a whole thing. Or maybe I just feel possessive over it.
* I'm watching Catherine say farewell to Sinclair and promise to be back in a few days, and all I can think is, "They better not kill her off, they better not kill her off." The nineties, man, we all came out with scars.
* I was a bit on edge about Earth's presentation for the religious beliefs festival, wondering what Sinclair was going to do: was he going to go with something with heavily Christian symbolism, or something about how space is our new uniting belief? But I was quite moved by what he actually did, and that long, long line of people of many, many religious faiths.

Will Robinson Lennier was a delight. I adore Na'Toth (cribbed her name to an OC of a completely different gender and species even).
