meteordustEvery time I view a story about xenophobia, it always feels timely and relevant, no matter what year it is. How depressing is that.
* The introduction of the Home Guard, a covert group which has been attacking aliens on Babylon 5 and elsewhere.
* Quotes of the episode:
Sinclair: "Pro-Earth? They're nothing but hate peddlers, playing off fear to turn human against alien."
Shaal Mayan: "Such great hatred for so little real reason. It seems incomprehensible to me."
* Also sadly relatable: Ivanova discovering that someone she used to be close to is a now a raging bigot.
* In mytharc news, Sinclair theorises that Dr Kyle and Lyta Alexander may have been transferred away from Babylon 5, because they learned too much about Vorlon secrets. Nice way to weave together casting changes with plot developments.
