Hmm, probably the best advice (http://www.livejournal.com/users/meteordust/15349.html) I can think of would be to write every day and don't fall behind. It's all about momentum. It takes only a few skipped days to make the difference between "Sweet, I wrote 5000 more words" and "Argh, I'm 5000 words behind".
