I'm an episode behind with these, but woo! The show I love is back. (Sort of.)
The first good episode of the season:
* Matt and Mohinder going to Molly when she has nightmares. So cute. So domestic. It's like the writers are throwing candy at us. (Look, it's Matt and Mohinder shacked up together! Look, it's shirtless Peter!)
* Yay, Nathan! I loved seeing him with his kids. We haven't actually seen much of him as a father. And they hated his beard! And now it is gone. (Angela Petrelli: "Just because you shaved doesn't mean you're clean and sober." Oh, Angela. You still rock. In a morally ambiguous way.)
* Adding Sylar to Maya and Alejandro's story has immediately made it more interesting. And when I heard the line "Gabriel, like the angel", I cracked up laughing. Because that's the exact line used in the game Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within, when the charismatic Baron von Glower meets our hero.
* Monica is awesome. I like her attitude. And she has something at stake that she is fighting for. Her whole family rocks too.
* I liked Nathan's interactions with Matt. And Matt knows Nathan can fly! What else has he picked up from Nathan's thoughts, I wonder?
* The Peter shrine! And the wedding photo!
* Even though the domesticity is cute, Matt and Mohinder are still crappy parents - Matt for making Molly look for the nightmare man, and Mohinder for letting him. I only hope Molly isn't stuck in a coma for ages, because she's a cool kid.
* What's sad is that this episode was good largely because there was no Peter or Hiro.
