I think I went off the scale of "impressed" on hearing about the different weave for scale!Gandalf's clothes. After that, no additional detail I learn surprises me.
No wonder he's such a good shot. He's had a lot of practice.
Don't tell anyone, but I actually rather hoped he'd spent the last few hundred years doing little but having sex with various people (and therefore skiving off archery practice... Imagine - he could be better at it!)
