I *heart* my poring

What is a poring?
A. A type of monster in the Ragnarok Online world.
B. A bouncing blob of jelly with a smiley face, which - despite being cute, round, and pink - still gets attacked by bloodthirsty adventurers out for XP.
C. The latest in popular pets since Gravity implemented the Cute Pet System.
See my icon? That's a screenshot of my RO character with pet poring. (The straps you can see belong to the backpack it's wearing - yes, you can buy accessories for your pet.)
So far my poring just follows me around and eats a lot. Sometimes it makes happy expressions when I feed it or kill monsters in front of it (even other porings, which i find slightly disturbing). I'm looking forward to when it starts talking like
leenabeans's.
My focus used to be on levelling up and getting money for better equipment. Now I also have to think about keeping my poring fed and earning enough to support it. Yes, it's the career vs kids dilemma. Fortunately, if I ever run low on money, I can always turn my poring back into an egg for a while - a pretty cool feature, I reckon. ^^

I put Chewie away for the moment because I'm running low on yellow herbs and he gets in the way when fighting orc mobs (not to mention noisy XD).
