The Yuletide story I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] amberite was:

Title: Into the Abyss
Fandom: Chronicles of Amber
Rating: M
Summary: Martin takes a Trump call from Brand.

The Yuletide treat I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] amberite was:

Title: Tabula Rasa
Fandom: Chronicles of Amber
Rating: M
Summary: Brand is an artist unlike any Martin has known.

The Yuletide treat I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] kangeiko was:

Title: Homecoming
Fandom: Seafort Saga
Rating: PG
Summary: Nick hates shopping. Tolliver hates shopping with Nick.

I feel like it may have been obvious who wrote these, since I wrote in the exact same fandoms last year. But I had a great time playing in these worlds again. Meta here.

Thank you again to [livejournal.com profile] morbane for your wonderful story A Gospel Camp Conspiracy to Avert Juvenile Magical Heroism. I adore it to pieces, and I would heartily recommend it to people even if they haven't read The Replacement, because it doesn't need canon knowledge and doesn't have spoilers for the book. (But I would heartily recommend The Replacement anyway, because it's a great book.)

ETA: Yuletide 2011 statistics, for those interested.

You're very welcome! I am SO glad you like it.

Big confession? I was matched to you on Seafort Saga. I just couldn't pull the story off. I had a Leonard Cohen album with about five songs that made me think "Vax and Nick"! (Various Positions, specifically, The Law, Heart with No Companion, Night Comes On, The Captain, and Coming Back to You). I got the last book, the one I don't own, out of the library, just in case there were Vax reminiscences in it. And the story just wouldn't work.

So, luckily, you'd also asked for an easy-to-pick-up canon which just happened to be in my library...

When I saw that someone had actually posted Seafort Saga fanfic, though, it felt like a huge relief - I'd really meant to write it. I wasn't totally surprised it was you. :P

Ooh, I'm going to have to listen to that Leonard Cohen album now. I love coming across songs and thinking, "That would be perfect for that character/relationship/fandom!" I hope you still consider writing Seafort Saga fic in future, whether for Yuletide or otherwise. It's cool to find other fans of the series out there. XD

I couldn't tell at all that you'd picked up a new canon for the challenge. I think I'd be flailing in panic a bit if I had to do that myself, so thank you again for the story!

It was actually really fun to read/watch something for the first time with the thought that I needed it for fanfic. Somewhat like most of my university courses, with fewer footnotes. ^!^

I do mean to write Seafort fanfic some day.
