1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Went overseas on business.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Some. And definitely!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
New Zealand.
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
Better habits for good health.
7. What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing the Semper Ardens series.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not finishing the first draft of the second novel.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A ridiculous number of colds.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Tickets to a fantastic Sydney convention.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
The voters of America.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The NRA.
14. Where did most of your money go?
The mortgage.

All the cool events happening this year.

Catching up with friends.

With family.

Revenge.

Hate is too strong a word, but I'm developing a strong dislike of people who encourage feral cats.

The Foundling by Georgette Heyer. Although Code Name Verity broke my heart, and Captain Vorpatril's Alliance was enormous fun.

Legally Blonde.

Wonderful Yuletide stories.

Prometheus. A polarising movie, but I fell into the 'love it' camp.
