It was a busy year for musicals. (Only seen one this year so far!)

Annie - Reasonably entertaining songs elevated by a stellar cast.

Love Never Dies - If you liked the original, you will probably hate this.

An Officer and a Gentleman - They tried. But it wasn't enough.

A Chorus Line - Maybe you had to see it when it was first released to really appreciate it. Or be part of the musical theatre world.

Legally Blonde - OMIGOD YOU GUYS. Best of the year. Now in my top ten.

In rough order of when I discovered them:

Les Miserables
Miss Saigon
RENT
Chess
Keating!
Jesus Christ Superstar
Legally Blonde

Not quite ten, but hey, room to add more.

Do you have a top ten? XD

I haven't seen more than a handful of musicals XD

But if I had to rank the ones I've seen so far:

1. Les Miserables
2. Wicked
3. Legally Blonde
4. Miss Saigon

Rank 3 and 4 is hard to place. I'm putting Miss Saigon last because it's kind of depressing. Well, I suppose except for Legally Blonde, they're all pretty depressing or dark... ^^;;

I guess it's in order of how many songs in the sound track that I like...

I love the songs from Miss Saigon, but yeah, I hate how depressing the story is.

It's totally about how many songs on the soundtrack I like too! Wicked misses out on my top ten, because I'm basically playing 'Defying Gravity' on infinite loop. XD
