X-Men '97: Episode 5: "Remember It"

meteordustI'm a few days late to the party. But damn. What an episode.
My spoilery reactions
I have too many big feelings about it right now. So many moments of emotional perfection. Amazing and devastating and epic.
- "Because I have to stomach your questions and prove that I'm a person!"
- It was Madelyne that Scott was talking to in his head!
- "You don't trust your memories. Do you even love me?" "My love for you is the one thing I remember amid this pain and insanity!" "Remember, or feel?"
- Magneto basically asking Rogue to be his queen.
- Rogue's impassioned speech to Gambit, and his heartrending response.
- Magneto and Rogue slow dancing to Ace of Base! The kiss! The choice!
- The "oh shit" moment of Cable appearing to try to warn them all.
- Rogue flying through the air in her tattered ballgown and Gambit on the motorcycle in his bloodstained tux. My forever power couple <3
- Magneto LAUNCHING A TRAIN at the giant Sentinel.
- "Do not be afraid." ;_;
- Rogue ripping apart that metal barrier with the power of her rage and grief.
- Gambit's last ride.
