Is it just me, or did Channel Nine air the wrong episode of Witchblade this week? Instead of 'Consectatio', we got 'Static'. Not only that, but they started the episode even earlier than last week, resulting in me missing the teaser once again.

I hadn't read the plot summaries previously, so I hadn't realised. No, it looks like you're right. I wonder if the change in order will make anything nonsensical.

They *did* start it about five minutes earlier, but I was happy with that because it meant it was only fifteen minutes late, rather than ten. I stay up to start my tape, rather than setting it.

Well, the plot of this episode seemed a bit "what the hell?" to me, so I can't see any obvious continuity issues arising. Unless something significant happened in the teaser?

I usually stay up to start my tape too, since program times aren't exact, but I guess after last week I should have turned on the tv ten minutes before time instead of a mere five.

Yeah, definitely not from the plot, but I'd wondered about the relationships - mostly Sara and Gabriel, and Sara and Ian. They seem to be progressing each week. There wasn't anything in the teaser at all, just Sara lying about and musing about the Witchblade in a voiceover. In place of "Previously on Witchblade, Sara acquired the Witchblade, and is a bit confused".

I guess after last week I should have turned on the tv ten minutes before time instead of a mere five.

It was actually before the scheduled time for you guys? My guide listed it as 1:00, straight after Letterman, but neglected to include the "Channel 9 Presents" thing.

Yeah, they started early. Which is the opposite of what usually happens on late night tv. But this week, I'll be ready for them...

Also, I rang Channel Nine yesterday to find out what was with the skipped episode. The programming department rep said that they were airing the episodes according to the schedule that Warner Bros had provided, and they planned to show all of them. I was sceptical about the schedule excuse, since the official Warner Bros site lists the episodes in the same order as everywhere else. But I decided to wait and see which episode airs this week. If it's still not the missing one, I'm going to ring again.

Yes. And from the plot summary I read, I would have *thought* that it would be clear what the order was, rather than them being entirely interchangeable.

Also, I've ascertained that it's around the 6th episode that it starts getting less good, so I'm particularly interested in staving that off.
