A few more Deathly Hallows musings

Spoilers.
* James and Lily were *21* when they died. They were *kids*.
* As soon as it was confirmed that Dumbledore (1) actually was 17 once, and (2) used to have a handsome blond friend with whom he shared great ambitions, I knew there would be Dumbledore/Grindelwald. Oh, fandom. There are already *communities* for it.
* I honestly thought Lupin would be the survivor of all the Marauders. I should have realised that in this series, getting married and having a baby doesn't remove you from danger, but the opposite.
* Also, asking a close friend to be godfather to your child is like showing your buddy a photo of your sweetheart back home.
* Biggest moment of awesome? Neville! Wielding the sword of Gryffindor! Cutting off the serpent's head!
