a note about a text: thank you. it was startlingly comforting. i appreciated the gesture and wish i could have had the balls to say so sooner. i'm just bad at showing gratitude. i hope you're enjoying your trip. i had a blast while i was there. it was possibly the most soothing place i've ever been, apart from the great outdoors in Alaska, where no one is around to bug you in the first place.

Hey there. I'm glad the message got through okay. I'm not so good at communicating myself sometimes. I'm back from Japan now. It was amazing. I wish I could go back.
