Supernatural 3x04 'Sin City'

Personally, I liked the movie better.

The main plot was a bit meh. All the interesting stuff happened in the interstices:

* Damn, but those boys look good in suits.

* I'm getting quite fond of Ruby. She reminds me a bit of a cross between Veronica and Buffy and Jo. And I like the idea of a demon working for good or at least allied with the good guys. (See Crowley.)

* "What do I look like?" "What do *I* look like? Cheapskate."

* Dean asking the demon about what it's like down there.

* All right, the Yellow Eyed Demon finally gets a name.

* I haven't been too keen on the whole "we're at war now" mantra, but the way they conceptualised it this episode - a war without a front, with thousands of demons jostling for power, when Sam should have been their general - made me go "Ooh, I get it now."

* Bobby to the rescue! (Again.)

* Dean asking Bobby if he thinks Sam came back different.

I'm not too sure Ruby's "working for good", especially with that great honking big hint at the end that she's Lucifer. :)

Ack, somehow I totally missed that. Will have to rewatch.

Evil-Ruby-who-is-really-Lucifer could be interesting though...
