Are we there yet? The second last episode of the season.
* Elle is still fascinating to watch, and one of the few characters whose appearance makes me instantly optimistic about that scene. Oh Kristen Bell, you deserve your own show.
* My sister is so pissed off at Mohinder, I think she would punch Sendhil Ramamurthy if he ever showed up at a convention here. Me, I think that's unfair. It's really Tim Kring she should be punching.
* There needs to be a word for when there is sexual tension between two characters and it skeeves you the hell out. (See Irons/Nottingham.) Maybe anti-ship? If so, Sylar/Maya is so my anti-ship.
* I can't help thinking that Season One Peter would have been much more upset over an innocent woman killed in front of him. Oh Peter. You may as well have died over New York, I hardly recognise you anymore.
* Alejandro deserved a better fate than that. I should be angry, but the actor has probably gone to a better place.
* Sylar gets his topless scene. The way this is going, the big showdown between him and Peter will probably involve a shirt-off.
* In one of the few bright spots of the episode, the confrontation between Claire and Elle was everything you would expect from two high calibre actresses getting to work a scene together.
* Maybe the writers thought it would be cool to have Peter and Hiro facing off against each other. And maybe it would be, if it was after talking had failed. Because if I had to describe either Peter or Hiro, it would not be "shoot first, ask questions later". They're the kind of guys who don't want to shoot people at all. At least in Season One. I have no idea about their doppelgangers.
