I'm not just playing RO, honest...

Things I've achieved in the past week:
1. Started working on the next part of Ties of Blood. I'm halfway through the first draft, which for me is good progress. I'm hoping to be able to pin down the rest of it over the course of this week. I think I'll have to refresh my memory about some of the details in the episodes though.
2. Finished revisions to Original!Story and sent it off to a prospective market. I'm aiming kinda high, but I figure I'll just start at the top and work my way down. If I'm going to start collecting rejection slips, I might as well be rejected by the best.
3. Put together my application for Clarion South 2004. When I first heard about the original Clarion, years ago, it seemed like a marvellous dream - a six week intensive workshop for aspiring SF writers, taught by a breathtaking lineup of professional authors. It's an incredible opportunity to test yourself, learn new things, and mix with similarly crazy people. Oh, and just one thing - it's in the US. But now there's going to be a Clarion for Australia, starting next year. I'm not pinning my hopes on getting in - there are only seventeen places, versus the huge number of applicants - but I had to give it a shot anyway.
Now, back to more cliff-sniping. Only a few more levels till I can graduate my Archer to a Hunter!
